It is also worth noting that Outlook 2007 does not support the "TRIGGER" property of the iCal standard properly, and generates a "Send/Receive" error when I try to import some of my calendars. That said, I very much appreciate you taking the time to reply. I'd simply prefer to have my primary corporate account used as the default owner for tasks as I really do not use my Hotmail account frequently. But I couldn't find any programs that convert events AND tasks to csv from iCal. Hotmail is currently running in Outlook 2007 as an Exchange Account without issue. ics files to a calendar format that Outlook knows better. Since then, I have experimented with converting the. ics files that Windows Calendar was using, and they are definitely stored in those files. After importing, all my events appeared correctly but none of my tasks were present. This should be as easy as importing the iCal files into Outlook, right? Wrong. It has some features that I was missing from Windows Calendar, and I decided to switch. For those of you unfamiliar with Windows Calendar, it ships with Vista and stores calendars in the iCal (.ics) file format.Īfter completely finishing my calendars (there are 5 of them, each with separate appointments/tasks), I happened to accidentally open up Outlook 2007. I have spent days adding my entire schedule for the next 3 months into Windows Calendar.
