Ludwig xylophone serial number9/18/2023 The set will definately stay together under my watch! I have grown quite fond of it as I have now done prob more than 300 gigs on it!Ĭlick to expand.Sorry, for the delay-missed your question somehow. ![]() BTW the throne is also the last one Ludwig made so that's cool too! My numbers go:Īnyone else have a new set like this that is in sequential order? I think this is pretty cool with the dates and serials like this. The only piece with a non sequential number is the canister throne and that is because it was made later as I ordered everything together but it took longer for the throne. I never asked them to do that and I have heard that people have asked and been shot down. My set is kind of unique in the fact that they are all date stamped May 1 2012(which is probably common as far as building the drums goes) but not only that, all of my blue olive badges are in number sequence. I should have done this a while ago but I'm glad I did it now. I was just doing some routine maintenence on my classic maple set yester day and finally wrote down my serial numbers to have in case of theft.
